My work explores abstracted visions of the everyday landscape. I am inspired by the spaces we move through in our daily routines—places often overlooked, yet deeply familiar. For me, landscape is not about the sublime or untouched; rather, it is about finding meaning in the mundane. My paintings do not depict a single moment in time but instead weave together multiple impressions—fleeting, familiar, and sometimes unrecognizable. Through thick, gestural oil paint and expressive mark making, I abstract the landscape to convey the sensation of movement and memory.
