In my work I am exploring memory, place, and time. I am often surprised/disturbed by how distorted our memories can become. I am trying to avoid simple nostalgia by distilling familiar rural landscapes into their simplest shapes, and then rendering them in vibrant colours and playful/wonky perspective.
